  1. Yes. I agree with everyone. Your art is fantastic. And I have a question: What size paper are you drawing on? Your details belie the dimensions, and I’m curious….thinking my journals might be too small.

    • Lately I’ve been sketching in a sketchbook, 8 1/4 x 11 1/4 fully opened, (you can see the center crease) the Macchiato pic is from the same sketchbook, but on a single page, 5 3/4 x 8 1/4. But like with the Vespa sketch, it’s on Canson watercolor paper I cut to 8 x 10 so it will fit on my copier so I can scan it. And, if a gift, it’s easily framed. I try to make it as easy as possible to scan. Thanks for asking, I hope that helps and thanks for stopping by and commenting.

    • Thank you, the sketch is just a regular ink pen and a little watercolor and a little colored pencil. Appreciate your comment!

  19. Hi Brad a great drawing as always. I am interested in how you find the time to draw so much. Are you just quick at it, set aside time to draw each day or are you retired! By the way do you do illustrations for other people? Thanks for the post and the lesson in speaking your type of English LOL!

    • Thank you for your kind words. I use drawing as a time to unwind, relax, I do a lot of thinking while I draw, but I don’t really spend a lot of time drawing especially now that it’s spring here and I really enjoy getting the garden ready. I use drawing like a hobby. Many times I’m relaxing at a Coffee House, which I like to do and so I draw what’s there. (ha) My coffee…and yes I do enjoy drawing for other people, I give pics away as gifts, etc,…and yes, we Americans have done a great job of butchering the English language. Btw, love your accent, I can hear it in your comment as I read. ha!

      • I enjoy the veggie garden as relaxation, and watching my chickens dig up the mulch. I want to send you a poem I wrote that needs an illustration but no pressure if you don’t want to. Its about a carpet python that lives in my laundry. I think it would be a great children’s picture book but can’t get anyone to pick it up here. See what you think. Will email it. Happy to pay just give me a quote first LOL!

      • Very cool, we have chickens too, but no python! Whaaaat??! Ha! You can send the poem, I’ll see what my imagination comes up with–sounds fun! Then I’ll send you a pic or 2 to see if we’re on the same page. bndz21@yahoo.com. Thx!
